New play based on The Black Cliffs

The theatre group  Aldrei óstelandi have made a new play about the murder case in the Westfjords in beginning of the 19th century that inspired Gunnar Gunnarsson for his great novel, The Black Cliffs. The play is based on Gunnarsson's novel among other evidences of these crimes of passion. The play is performed on the small stage Kúlan in the National Theatre in Reykjavík. Marta Nordal is director and actors are: Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson, Edda Björg Eyjólfsdóttir, Stefán Hallur Stefánsson and Harpa Arnardóttir.

Sunday 19th February it will be open at Skriduklaustur 14.00-17.00. Skuli Björn will introduce a smart guide project which includes tours around Fljotsdalsherad. His presentation starts at 14.00. And Klausturkaffi offers a good woman's day cake buffet.
