Sunday 23rd February is the wife's day in Iceland when the old month Góa begins. As usually there will be poetry reading at Skriðuklaustur on that day. Now two poets from Finland will visit us, Katariina Vuorinen og Marko Niemi and read from their works along with Ingunn Snædal and other regional poets. Katariina og Marko have been in Iceland for the last weeks working on collaborational project of Icelandic and Finnish poets. They have already read in Reykjavík and Hólmavík and now it is the East of Iceland. The reading starts at 14.30 and afterwards there will be cake buffet at Klausturkaffi. The café is open 15.00 - 17.00 on the Sunday 23rd.
